Ayurveda

Fatiha is a qualified Ayurvedic Practitioner, registered with the Association of Ayurvedic Professionals and the Federation of Holistic Therapists.

After a career in teaching languages in schools and universities, I intuitively turned to health and wellbeing to enhance my own and that of my family. Amongst the many approaches I experienced, I had found Ayurveda to be the most complete system of holistic health. It is firmly rooted in the concept of body and mind integration.

I set out to train and qualify as an Ayurvedic Practitioner at the Ayurvedic Institute in London with Dr Deepika (BAMS), a respected Ayurvedic doctor who has been running a successful clinic and institute for over 20 years.

I also have a diploma in Psychodynamic Theory from WPF in London which gives me a sound framework when dealing with the counselling aspect in my practice.

I am passionate about yoga, which I have been practicing for over 15 years, I regularly visit India and go on  Ayurvedic retreats. This helps me maintain my own health and ensure I am providing my clients with authentic and experiential Ayurveda back in London.

Ayurveda

The sister science of yoga, Ayurveda is the therapeutical system that promotes health and wellbeing through correct use of food, lifestyle and relationships. True health in Ayurveda is not merely the absence of disease, but a state of enjoyment of ‘uninterrupted physical, mental and spiritual happiness and fulfilment’.

Follow ups are a critical part of the Ayurvedic regimen as they are an opportunity to discuss the progress of your treatment. Your contributions and active involvement are invaluable to reap the benefits from your newly adopted lifestyle.
