About Carol McLoughlin – Reiki, Chelsea SW10

Carol is a qualified Reiki Practitioner and registered with the UK Reiki Federation works at Chelsea Natural Health, 208 Fulham Road, Chelsea SW10.

She trained in Usui Reiki at the Reiki Science Academy London under Torsten Lange who has lineage from both Eastern and Western Usui traditions.

Since qualifying and registering as a Reiki Practitioner in March 2024, Carol has delivered over 300 Reiki treatments. Treatment settings include NHS hospital, community hub and private clinic and clients have ranged in age from mid-twenties to late seventies.

Reiki is a holistic and natural form of healing that helps balance and relieve the blocked energy that can arise from tension, worry, and stress. It is known to work on a physical and emotional level addressing both symptoms and the root causes of ailments and illnesses. 

As a complimentary therapy Reiki may be used safely by people of all ages and is easily adapted to most medical conditions. Often it enables people to take further steps towards better self-care and wellbeing.

Clients regularly report feeling a sense of calm and or energised after Reiki sessions with Carol.

Frequently asked questions

Is Reiki a religious or spiritual practice?

No. Reiki requires no particular belief system and is not associated with any religion. It works whether or not the recipient is familiar with energy medicine concepts. The only requirement is a willingness to receive treatment.

Can I combine Reiki with other treatments at the clinic?

Reiki combines very well with any other treatment – many clients see Carol for Reiki alongside osteopathy, acupuncture or reflexology as part of a broader programme of care.

How is Carol’s Reiki different from Simon Heale’s?

Both practise Usui Reiki. Carol’s sessions are dedicated Reiki-only treatments with a focused, meditative quality. Simon is a Reiki Master Teacher who frequently combines Reiki with sports massage or craniosacral therapy in a single extended session. Carol is ideal for clients wanting a pure Reiki experience; Simon for those wanting a physically integrated session.
