About Julie Day – Podiatrist & Chiropodist, Chelsea SW10

Julie Day is one of London’s most experienced and respected podiatrists. She qualified from the London Foot Hospital in 1985 and has been running her Chelsea practice since 1987 – a remarkable career spanning nearly 40 years. She is the resident podiatrist at the Royal Marsden Hospital, and spent over 26 years working in a central London teaching hospital where she developed specialist expertise in the management of the rheumatoid and diabetic foot.

Julie is a full member of the College of Podiatrists and is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) – the statutory regulator of podiatry in the UK. She is also a qualified podiatric acupuncturist, an additional qualification that expands the scope of her clinical treatments. Home visits are available for patients who are unable to travel to the clinic at Chelsea Natural Health.

Bespoke orthotics

Julie designs and manufactures bespoke insoles – custom orthotics – from a scan of your foot, correcting the structural and postural factors that cause not only foot pain but also knee pain, hip pain and lower back pain caused by poor foot biomechanics. Bespoke orthotics are available from -400 and complement osteopathic treatment with Philip Waldman or Martin Sheerin for complex lower limb presentations.

Nail surgery

Julie performs minor nail surgery procedures under local anaesthetic for conditions including ingrowing toenails, nail ablation and nail corrections. Surgery is available from -400 per side. All surgical procedures are carried out under full aseptic conditions at the clinic.

Home visits

Home visits are available for patients who cannot travel to 208 Fulham Road – including elderly patients, those with mobility difficulties and post-surgical patients.
